Dynamic Recording & Inspection Platform (DRIP™)
Overview
The Merlin Concepts & Technology's DRIP application interacts with field devices to validate and control each step in the manufacturing process. Automated Data-Capture Choke-Points, Industrial Touch-Screen Feedback Stations, and Digital Signature Validation Systems enable customers with the ability to capture product identification upon entry into a particular control station, dynamically configure machinery, digitally confirm and record inspection, and provide track-and-trace capability throughout the lifecycle of the product.
By providing automated tracking and industrial device programming that includes reading manufactured items as they move through the production process customers are able to record step-by-step product movement, validate it against their designated work orders, and automatically adjust production variables.

Overview
SmartFeed is a self-configurable touchscreen system that allows its users to drag-and-drop control buttons to an interface and within minutes design an interface that can be used to input visual inspection and manufacturing data. In dynamic operational environments, prompt and responsive application systems that provide easy interaction to the field operatives are critical. Merlin Concepts & Technology provides this production and logistics process management input capability via touch screen feedback stations through its SmartFeed™ Application Suite. The suite enables optimal human-to-computer interaction through quick and easy translation of floor worker qualitative observations or actions to system recorded data. These ergonomic interfaces are proven to streamline the human-action-cycle and provide unprecedented usability for floor workers irrespective of their computer skill levels.
Recorded data is pushed into existing enterprise resource planners for use in production planning, historical quality control traceability, or real-time dashboard views of operations. Empowering floor workers with this paperless and efficient system to record or retrieve process information allows product and process information to be instantly retrieved through electronic data queries. It also enables quicker processing and recording times, and alleviates the cumbersome attributes inherent to a paper based system.

Overview
The final destination of most oilfield products, the downhole, is where the refined engineering systems used to build the subcomponents of the drill string are put to the test.
With several hundred tons of tensile forces, variable pressure spikes of 30,000+ psi, temperature peaks 200+ Fahrenheit, the oilfield products must hold up to assure sustained operation of the oil well.
Merlin's Downhole Drillstring Control provide the ability for final verification of the oilfield product as it is being lowered into the borehole. Ruggedized automated data capture systems work to retrieve product identification and verify and validate the sequencing of drill string assembly against the preset design of the Oilfield Engineer.
Integration into existing Drill String Design systems enables a seamless and transparent level of control that will assure incorrect or out of sequence components are not lowered into the borehole. The system provides feedback to the oil rig operators in the forms of visual, electronic, or audible alerts and system triggers, enabling them to assure the structural integrity of the drill string.

Overview
SmartPipeline uses RFID enabled pipeline components as identifiers to validate parts and locations across the facility. Jointly, sensor data from flow-meters, pressure gauges, and other data collection controllers cross-reference against field operative locations, field operative actions, and parts being used.
At the field-operative level, the system provides operatives the ability to select products for replacement, assure the inspections are performed correctly and according to protocol, and improve daily inspection throughput.
At the operation-manger level, the system provides real-time feedback of field-operative tasks that enables a system-wide view that could help optimize inspection routes, inspection frequencies, address leak-failures more efficiently, adjust system variables with a clearer picture of what is going on in the field, and a variety of other critical "data" driven tasks.
At the corporate level, the system supports production and infrastructure expansion decisions. Field operative feedback and sensor data provide validation mechanisms to assure corporate decisions can be executed.
